Hotel Garza Canela began operations in 1970 as Las Brisas Resort under the direction of Vázquez González family. In 1998 we acquired the trademark of Hotel Garza Canela in honor of the small endemic boat-billed heron, which is color cinnamon and who we got our new name from.
For our Chef and owner Betty Vázquez, preparing the most exquisite dishes is all about flavors, textures, scents and colors; she thinks that everything evolves but never looses it’s essence.
